Explore treasures of an Island wilderness just 20 mins from Dublin City Centre and 30 mins from Dublin International Airport.
You will feel safe in the hands of our experienced Captains Mark & Greg as they take you on the short boat ride from Howth Harbour to Irelands Eye. The trip around the Island takes in spectacular views of the Island and the colony of seals which inhabit the area.
Passengers are also given the option to land on the Island. Once on the Island you can stay as long as you wish (boats return from the Island to Howth Harbour every hour; last boat departs from the Island at 6pm). Take the time to swim in the clear waters, picnic on the safe sandy beaches, take a selfie by the Martello tower (built in 1803 to defend against Napoleon), or just lay back and watch the blue skies for flying Gannets, Gulls, Puffins and our very own resident Peregrine Falcon.
Our Boats; M.V ‘Little Flower’; M.V ‘Oriel’ & M.V ‘Puffin’ depart from the pontoon on the West Pier (near Aqua Restaurant) every half hour.
Price: Adult €15, Children €10, Family rates: 2 Adults & 2 Children €40; 2 Adults & 3 Children €50
Evening Trips are available by arrangement for corporate groups and walking clubs etc. Previous ‘work night out’ groups availed of the 40min boat trip followed by food and drinks in one of Howth’s many bars and restaurants.
